Das ASC-Verfahren (Adsorptions-Säulen-Chromatographie) verbindet Adsorption und Filtration in einem Schritt. Das FARITEC ASC-Polymer behandelt gelöste Stoffe wie Öle, Fette, Wachse, BTXE und Kohlenwasserstoffe sowie partikuläre Stoffe bis zu einer Größe von 50 µm. Das rückspülbare Verfahren besitzt außerdem eine Biofilterfunktion und einen Adsorptionseffekt gegenüber organischen Verunreinigungen.
Die ASC-Filtration kann die biologische Brauchwasseraufbereitung als nachgeschaltete Komponente ergänzen. Sie behandelt verbliebene Kohlenwasserstoffe im Brauchwasser und schafft damit eine geeignete Vorstufe für eine anschließende UV-Behandlung.
