Filtration and adsorption in a single step.
ASC (adsorption column chromatography) combines adsorption and filtration. FARITEC’s patented ASC polymer removes dissolved substances such as oils, fats, waxes, BTXE and hydrocarbons, as well as particulate material down to 50 µm. The backwashable process also provides a biofilter function and adsorbs organic contaminants.
ASC filtration complements biological process water treatment as a downstream stage. It removes residual hydrocarbons and enables subsequent UV disinfection.
